Poemoscope Terms of Use
1. Parties
These Terms are an agreement between you ("Visitor") and Kiryl Anokhin, JDG (Poland), NIP 8982272619, REGON 521004109, address Wrocław, Poland (the "Operator"). They apply to the Poemoscope website at poemoscope.com and to the Poemoscope mobile app for iOS and Android (together, the "Service").
Current version: v1.1, effective 28 October 2026.
2. The Service
Poemoscope is a poetry oracle. You ask a question and receive a card together with a line of real poetry, with a link to the full poem. The Service is free, has no accounts and requires no registration.
3. For reflection, not advice
Poemoscope is offered for entertainment and reflection. A reading is not a diagnosis, an assessment of you or advice of any kind. It is not a substitute for professional advice, whether medical, legal, financial or psychological. If you are in danger, contact your local emergency services. You alone are responsible for any decision you make after a reading.
4. Eligibility
The Service is intended for persons aged 13 and above. By using it you confirm that you have reached that age. If you are under 18, make sure you have your parent's or guardian's consent.
5. Daily allowance and rewarded ads
You may ask a limited number of free questions a day. Where offered, you may unlock further questions by choosing to watch a rewarded advertisement. This is always optional and is not a purchase. There are no paid features, subscriptions or in-app purchases. Whether ads are personalised depends on your consent choices, as explained in the Privacy Policy. The Operator may change the allowance or the unlocks at any time.
6. Your question
You keep all rights to the text of your question. By asking it you grant the Operator the right to process the text to answer it and to keep the Service running, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not include in a question personal data of other people, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, threatening or pornographic. The Operator may decline to answer a question.
7. Poems and other content
The poems quoted by the Service belong to their authors. The Operator makes no claim over them. Each line links to the full poem on poemship.com, a site run by the same Operator under its own Terms of Service.
If a poem quoted by the Service infringes your rights or credits the wrong author, write to [email protected] with the line or the poem's link. Once confirmed, we stop quoting the poem or correct the credit.
The cards, artwork, text, design, code and logo of the Service are the property of the Operator. You may save and share an image of your line as produced by the Service, for personal, non-commercial purposes and without alteration. Any other use requires prior written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use automated tools (scraping, bots, scripts) to ask questions, harvest lines or circumvent the daily allowance
- interfere with the delivery or verification of advertisements, or attempt to obtain unlocks you have not earned
- overload, probe or damage the infrastructure
- use the Service in a way that breaks the law or these Terms
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, the absence of errors, or that a reading will be accurate, relevant or foretell anything. This does not limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, nor for any decision made or action taken in reliance on a reading. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury, fraud, intent or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. The statutory rights of consumers in Poland and the EU remain fully preserved.
11. Availability
The Service is not offered in every country. The Operator may change, suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of Poland. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live are preserved.
13. Disputes
Please raise any dispute with us first: [email protected]. As a consumer you may also use the out-of-court dispute resolution bodies in your country. In Poland these include the consumer ombudsmen and the Trade Inspection.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice on the website and in the App. By continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the new version.
